LEN SILVER IN LA PLAGNE
Yet another great day for ski-ing and once again I was pushed to my limits by
my Speedway friends who all think that anything under 50mph is for wimps. None
the less we all enjoyed the South facing slopes of the Champagny area, fully
appreciating the good vision in the sun. My shattered nerves from all the speed
ski-ing were helped by an extra vin chaud with lunch!
Len’s Ski Tips:
When ski-ing into a slope that has more than an average number
of skiers ahead of you, many of whom may not be too competent, slow your
own speed to match the other skiers so that you do not need to make too many
passing movements. The risk of collision and injury is then greatly reduced.
