Len 04.02.13

A surprisingly good sunny day on Monday following a good snowfall on
Sunday, so once again we found perfect conditions on and off piste.  Met
with some of my friends from the world of Speedway at lunchtime and raced
round with them afterwards to finish up in the Crozats off piste area and on
down the Malatray black with them pushing me to my limit…lost a few
pounds in weight though!
Len’s Ski Tips:
Ski-ing through broken snow should be done at a reasonable speed so
that your skis carve through the roughness with ease. If you go
too slow, you will feel every bunch of snow trying to stop you turning so the
effort is much greater…and don’t forget to keep your weight over the front of
your skis all the time with positive pole planting (to the side).
