Chalet Topaz in La Plagne

Having just experienced our first ever skiing holiday we found Silver Ski to be a company we would highly recommend to others. The chalet was very homely and clean. The food and wine was ample and varied. The hosts were very friendly and informative. Everything went to schedule from arrival to departure, the coach driver was excellent and careful on the mountain drive (same guy both ways). A very enjoyable first Skiing experience, helped by wonderful weather and views from Chalet Topaz.

I just wanted to take the time to say thanks for such a great week and holiday with silver ski. I must admit, as my first skiing holiday I was a little apprehensive about the trip especially as I anticipated to be sharing a chalet with more experienced skiers. As soon as we arrived to be welcomed by friendly staff and to enter such a homely chalet was really nice. I was soon put at ease by people giving rave reviews of when they had previously visited the resort or recalling happy memories of previous silver ski holidays. It was great to be in a chalet with a good mix of people as the tips and pointers were really helpful, it was also nice to come back and tell people about the days tumbles and achievements. The food throughout the whole week was of a great standard and the people made a really nice friendly atmosphere.

I wouldn’t have changed a single thing about the holiday even the weather was too good to be true. I would certainly recommend the resort and silver ski as a company to all friends and family in future. A massive thanks to all those who made my first skiing experience one I will never forget.

Chalet Sonjon I, Courchevel 1300

Recently returned from Sonjon I in Le Praz and would just like to say how lucky Silver Ski is to have a little diamond in Jack as the chalet host.  After Malcolm and Helen two years ago and Trudi and Ian last year I was a bit apprehensive at the thought of a young lad as the host, but he really was great. Chalet Bonin, Plagne Village, La Plagne

We just wanted to say what a great holiday we had, not just because of the snow.  Our hosts in the chalet were fantastic and the food was great.

The chalet was always clean and we were very spoilt all week.

We are all keen to book up next year asap so we will be keen to put a deposit down as soon as we can.

Chalet Bonin, La Plagne

We returned yesterday from La Plagne where we had a great week's skiing.

Ski conditions were excellent up until Friday when we had a lot of new snow.

The chalet team were excellent, friendly welcome from Emily and Ed, and outstanding food from David.

All three could not have been more helpful, so please pass on our sincere thanks to them for making the week so fabulous.

Chalet Jacqueline, La Tania

Dear Silverski,

We've been away with you virtually every year for the last 15, and I thought I'd let you know what a great week we had in Chalet Jacqueline in La Tania last week.  The brilliant snow and sunshine helped a lot, but it was Sue & Mike in the chalet who really did the business.  After less than perfect hosts last year, we looked around other chalet companies, but decided that, as we know Chalet Jacqueline well, we'd give it another go.  Despite their advanced years - about the same as us! - they were cool, professional and utterly committed to giving their guests a great week.  The food and other aspects of hospitality were super and the week raced by.  We can't thank them enough - and we thought you'd like to know.

Hope they stay on for the 2012/13 season.

Chalet Bon Coin, La Plagne

We have just returned from a great week in Chalet Bon Coin.  The team looked after us very well and we enjoyed the ski guiding.

Chalet Le Biol, Courchevel 1650

Just a quick email to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Chalet Le Biol.  We were there from 29th January.  It's an excellent location, our attic room was a good size, but the main reason for writing is to ask you to pass on our thanks to our chalet hosts for making the stay so enjoyable.

Rob, Christine, Angie and John were charming and very helpful hosts - and the meals they produced were excellent.  They were all lovely company.

Chalet Bonin, La Plagne

Hello Karen,

We spent the week 13 - 22 January in Chalet Bonin at La Plagne and just wanted to say how well it was run by Emily, Ed & David.  They were superb hosts and David was a fantastic cook.

This is our 15th or 16th year skiing with Silver Ski and I think it's the best food we've had so far.
