Dear Silverski team,

 

We have just returned from the best skiing holiday we have ever experienced.  Mark our host and chef was superb.  He was quietly efficient and kept the chalet spotless. The meals he prepared were fantastic!  Please pass on our huge thanks to him for making our holiday so relaxing.

The location of the chalet is perfect and it worked so well with two families sharing. The heated boot room was  a luxury and made getting boots onto (especially little peoples’) feet much much easier!

A quick thank you to Silverski for making our holiday so enjoyable; the Lee family have returned from a fantastic week in La Tania and Simon / Sarah were brilliant hosts.  This was the first time we’ve stayed in a catered chalet, having self catered 25+ times and it will be hard to go back, so you may very well see us again!  I would also not hesitate recommending you to anyone considering a similar holiday if asked.
You may recall that we had to make a call to the passport office in Victoria en route to the airport as Katie’s passport had expired; whilst I wouldn’t want to repeat that experience in a hurry, I’m glad to say that even that worked very well.

Dear Silverski,

Our party of 4 (two over 60′s and two mid 20′s) stayed at Chalet Biol from 23rd February-3rd March 2013. I had to write and say what an excellent holiday we had and how much we enjoyed staying at Chalet Le Biol. From the first bowl of much appreciated home-made soup on our arrival at lunchtime on Sunday, tired and travel-worn, we were looked after admirably by Suzie, Sarah, Guy and Simon. The chalet was spacious, comfortable and homely (I was especially impressed by the generous proportions of our room – the largest room I’ve stayed at, in a ski chalet in Europe); the position of the chalet – right by the slopes and lift – was a huge bonus and the food was always appetising, generous, well-cooked and beautifully presented. Suzie, Sarah, Guy and Simon were a mine of information on the area and made us all feel welcome and at home.

I shouldn’t forget to mention the smooth and well-run operation behind the scenes, from making the booking at the end of December, to being escorted to and from the airport (thanks to Alastair), we have to say that Silverski always had someone on hand to answer our questions, advise us and make us feel comfortable.

This is the first time we have used Silverski and it won’t be the last. It was excellent value for money and a great experience!

Having just returned from La Plagne, and whilst the memory of the week is still fresh, I write on behalf of myself and my ski companion John, to complement the Silver Ski team corporate and the chalet host Mark in particular for the efforts you all made to ensure the week was one of the best ski holidays I have had to date (matched only by my family stay at Chalet Brigitte at Christmas).  It would appear from the experience of many Silver Ski holidays over more years than I care to admit to, that you continue to succeed in improving what started out as a quality ‘silver’ service to what now qualifies as a ‘gold’ standard.  Very well done and long may you continue to thrive as a company.
 
Special thanks go to Mark who single-handedly provided eight guests with wonderful evening meals and whose relaxed and friendly personality did much to enhance the ambience of the chalet and also to Emma whose cakes provided an inspiring finish to each day’s skiing.
 
Roll on next Winter.

Chalet Jolie, Meribel

Dear Hazel,
We have just returned from Meribel and stayed at your chalet Jolie, we just wanted to Say what a fabulous time we had and how impressed we were , this is the first time we have experienced the “chalet ” style skiing holiday and thank you to Sophie,Dylan, Renee and Steve for being excellent hosts,the food was amazing , they were so helpful and friendly and made our stay truly fabulous! We will be booking with you next year , thank you silver ski .

Chalet Jacqueline 6th Jan

CHALET JACQUELINE, 6 JANUARY

Having just returned from Chalet Jacqueline in La Tania, I felt I had to email Silverski.

We as a group had been using another ski package operator of a similar size to Silverski for a number of years, however, due to the way we were treated last year we vowed to find a different company who held the same values as to our expectations.  Having asked for recommendations from other friends, Silverski was highly recommended by quite a number, in fact you catered for a large group of 29 over the new year week in your La Plain Chalet.

 

What we would like to say is “well done Silverski” first rate on all accounts, from the organisation right through to the Chalet were excellent.

 

A very special and well deserved thank you must go to Sue & Michael our Chalet hosts.    The easy going, every thing just right, but firm (when needed with certain guests) manner in the way Sue handled our needs, was perfect.  All meals were spot on, we hoped to loose weight whilst away (new years resolution!), but how could we with such good food.
I really hope Silverski appreciate what a fine pair of Chalet hosts you have in Chalet Jacqueline??

 

The only slight critique (small), it would have been nice if the resort rep had called in to check that all was fine with everyone, rather than just on the bus at each end of the week, but to be honest we were so well looked after by Mike & Sue he wasn’t missed.
We have spoken to our friends (the 29′ers from La Plain) who also had a good trip, thanking them for the recommendation.  


We as “Silverski first timers” will certainly pass on the recommendation and look forward to travelling with Silverski again next year, you have set the bar high, so we’re looking for many more good things in the future.
